About Me
I bring to my work a woven tapestry of training and lived experience. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, a postgraduate certification in Educational Therapy, specializing in AD/HD and Executive Functioning, and an MFA in Classical Acting. I am certified in the trauma/distress treatment EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and have facilitated grief groups for several years in partnership with Dwellness Therapy and Sparrow Funeral Home: supporting individuals grieving loved ones, including those navigating the unique pain of suicide loss.
I work with adolescents and adults, often creative individuals and deep feelers: people who may be experiencing anxiety, grief, trauma, identity exploration, or life transitions. My therapeutic orientation is relational and client-centered, and I draw from a wide range of modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), psychodynamic theory, and trauma-informed care.
